Customize AI Script to Ask for Callback by Time of Day

You can customize your Prop AI calling agent to ask leads whether mornings, afternoons, or evenings are better for a callback instead of asking for an exact time.

How to update your AI agent's callback phrasing

1. Go to Agent Manager
   Open your Prop AI dashboard and navigate to the Agent Manager.

2. Create a new AI agent
   Click Create Agent and give it a name (e.g., "Jill").

3. Access the script template
   From any campaign setup screen, open the Google Doc linked as "learn more about scripts". This contains the editable agent script.

4. Locate the callback question
   Use the document’s Find function to locate default script phrases like:

What would be a good time for a callback?

5. Replace with your preferred language
   Edit those phrases to something like:

Are mornings, afternoons, or evenings better to call you back?

6. Import the updated script into your agent
   Copy your modified script and paste it into your agent’s script editor in Agent Manager.

7. Save and use your custom agent
   Save the changes and ensure your custom agent (e.g., Jill) is selected when launching new AI calling campaigns.

8. Test the script
   Have someone simulate a lead call and respond to the AI agent’s prompts to verify it uses your new phrasing and behaves as expected.
