How to edit AI calling scripts in Prop AI
You can modify the language used by Gen, Prop AI’s calling robot, including removing or replacing specific phrases. This is useful when you want to avoid wording such as “we are putting this into underwriting.”
Edit the AI calling script
To adjust the script for a specific campaign:
- Go to your Campaigns list in Prop AI.
- Click on the campaign you want to modify.
- Select Call Prospects to open campaign settings.
- In the campaign screen, click the drop-down labeled Advanced Modify AI Behavior. This reveals the editable script field (hidden by default).
- In the text fields:
- To remove a phrase like “we are putting this into underwriting”, enter an instruction like:
[Do not say "we are putting this into underwriting"]
, or simply:[remove "we are putting this into underwriting"]
. - To insert custom language, enclose exact spoken text in quotation marks (
"...") and put instructions in brackets (
[…]`). - Responses may vary between campaigns, and behavior can be inconsistent.
Test and finalize changes
- Enter your phone number in the test field to run a test call.
- Listen to the AI's script to verify whether the change worked.
- If the test is successful, immediately launch your campaign. Do not re-edit or duplicate, as changes may not carry over or apply consistently.
Note: This tool requires some trial and error. Because campaign behaviors vary, results aren’t guaranteed or always repeatable.
